Last first week of college

To sum up the first week of school:
This is going to be my BEST SEMESTER EVER! Well, at least I hope so. I want to leave college with a bang. And it looks like my classes will allow me to do so.

-Feminist Thought (with one of my fav profs, Barker-Plummer)
-Communication Law and Policy (all about the First Amendment)
-International/Global Media (focus on Indian Media)
-16mm Production (finally get to work with actual film)
-Advanced Ballet (my inspiration to work out)

In addition to this, I'm the TA for the Advanced Production class with my favorite prof, Madeleine Lim. And, I plan to do Luau again this spring, shaking my hips in Tahitian. I've set a couple of goals for myself to achieve within the next couple months.

*Get a summer internship (ideally working on the set of POTC4)
*Produce 1-2 shorts on my own time
*Start a consistant exercise regimen
*Achieve a 3.6 GPA
*Start working on my film school applications
*Read at least 2-3 books each month
*Study film history, technique, and theory on my own time
*Save at least $200 each month

I'm hopeful. I often set goals, only to forget them later. But maybe if I put them down here, in a public forum, it will motivate me more to achieve them. I'll check back with them by the end of May, and we'll see how many I completed.

Random video. This girl and I think a lot alike.
