With one week left in Hawaii, I'm trying to get as much done as possible. I want to soak in every minute of warm sun and friendly people before I return to the mediocrity that is San Francisco. OK, I lied. SF isn't horrible, but the Hawaiian fantasy is so engrossing that it becomes more and more difficult to leave. Which is why this is my last extended vacation. From now on, my life is based in SF. And by the end of 2010, I will have declared California residency (yuck).

Yesterday can be summed up in bullet points:

*wake up with Raj beside me (a luxury I rarely get to experience in Hawaii)

*relaxation at beach (I am addicted to the endorphin-releasing sun)

*discovered new Dole Cannery arcade, complete with lasertag (note to self: must do before I leave)

*The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus with Riana (new Terry Gilliam film is enchanting, definite must-see)

All in all, a fight-less day with the boyfriend (first in a while) and reconnection with best friend. Final consensus: a damn good day. Hopefully the start to a damn good week.
